With a Grain of Salt

We should beware of things read or heard and not so quick to believe every point made as a complete truth. Regardless of who is speaking or writing.

This does not mean that nothing can be true or contain truths or that we need to reject every point made; but we really should take things with a grain of salt and keep an open mind.

We need to remember that we are all human. We all make mistakes. We all have personal viewpoints that can change or learned information that can be disproved or improved by new information, research and/or experiences and none of us are perfect.

We need to remember this regardless of the reputation, profession or perceived position of the writer, artist, speaker, etc. when we are taking in information.
