There are a lot of new things going on right now!
My brother will be married this coming weekend. With the planning and organizing that has been going on, I think all involved are ready to celebrate this Saturday. The family, bride and groom-to-be, and friends of Chris and Crystal have been working hard at it for months.
They will be married at my parent’s house in a very well prepared and beautiful back yard and, with how things look so far, a wicked and very detailed job has been done putting things together. Let’s hope this nice weather keeps up so that the day can be enjoyed outdoors as planned!
The girls are doing great as ever. There are currently 5 excited ladies gearing up for the November 26th OPA show at Centennial Hall, here in London, Ontario. 3 of them are first timers. It will be so great to see them up there and they are working very hard. More news regarding that day to come soon 🙂
Rita Catolino is shooting with Paul Buceta today, has another shoot Friday with Arsenik Photography and is gearing up for WBFF at the end of the month. A busy, busy Woman and the way she maintains balance is pretty amazing. She is a mom, a wife, a very busy personal trainer, disciplined competitor/fitness model and wears all of these hats in quite a balanced and healthy way. In short, she is a true inspiration.
Have fun at your shoot today Rita!
The decision has been made to go back to school. It is something I’ve thought about for some time now and I have no doubt this is the right choice and that it is the right time. I will be working toward my BA in Psychology, likely beginning in January. I’ve been in touch with some really helpful people who have offered ideas and options and, so far, I feel part-time will be the best choice and most of the courses (if not all) will be correspondence.
The part-time course-load and correspondence will allow me to slowly work back into things (it’s been a while since I’ve been a fulltime student) and will also allow me to keep up with work.
I am so excited about it! Speaking with a friend who is a past psych major and looking more into the course material has got me all excited about everything. Who knows, things might even be taken further than a BA 🙂 We’ll just have to see!
I remember reading a quote and cannot remember where it was or exactly how it was worded but this is the message that stuck; “If you could go back to school at any time and do or be anything you chose, what would you do? Guess what; at any age, at any time and from anywhere, you can.”
This stuck with me and it’s true for pretty much all of us. If we want something bad enough, whatever that goal may be, we can always find a way, take steps to get there and make it happen.
Very excited about things to come 🙂
Have a great day!
