Update

Good morning! Today is 5 weeks from the shoot. I’ll be seeing Steph this weekend to see if things are going okay. It seems really weird; skin fold measurements are down, clothes are fitting a lot differently and things look like they have changed quite a bit but my weight has not changed very much at all.

I’ll choose not to stress about that since my weight being weird is not really that uncommon, especially during preps.  If things are not coming along the way they should be, I’ll know once I see Steph.

Some changes that are taking place so far (unless Steph makes suggestions) are carbohydrate intake has been taken back a bit and are rotated more. Cardio has also been increased slightly. I’ll add examples soon.

I’m having a lot of fun playing with the meal plan and, so far, cravings aren’t that bad at all. I do want those meals right away, though and can definitely tell that my body is making full use of all of the food that’s going into it.

It is not difficult to stay away from the cheats, especially with everything being so close! I’m not going to lie though, the birthday cake at Dad’s birthday/thanksgiving last weekend definitely caused some mouth watering. But it would feel pointless to have anything that could hurt progress and the regret would definitely not make the tasty deliciousness worth it.
